The aim of this module is to develop students’ practical and theoretical experience of vulnerabilities and exploitation techniques, while developing an understanding of software security and the secure software lifecycle to develop secure code. To facilitate this, students will learn about the technical workings of a variety of security breaches, and the various tools and techniques that can be used to discover, attack, and mitigate against them.
